Activating Windows XP (not Windows XP SP1)  this will not work with SP1

1. First off go to www.ultraedit.com and download a free copy of ultraedit32 
2. Then make a copy of your winlogon.exe 
 	(copy&paste it to your desktop you can find the winlogon.exe Here-- right click your start button click 
 	on explore And find your WINDOWS folder click on this and have a look around for a folder called system32 
 	open this and in there somewhere you?ll find the winlogon.exe 
3. Open the winlogon.exe with UltraEdit 
4. Once open scroll down to position - 
   00039660h: EB E9 8B D1 57 33 C0 89 02 89 42 08 89 42 10 89 
   And change these numbers to the ones below 
   00039660h: EB E9 C7 06 01 00 00 00 83 EE 04 C3 89 42 10 89 
5. Now your winlogon.exe has been altered save it to a floppy (Delete the winlogon.exe on your Desktop) 
6. Now! You need to boot in to safe mode and find the winlogon files, 
7. click your start button and click the Run? icon 
8. Copy&paste this address( C:\Windows\System32\Dllcache ) into the Run program 
   And click OK this will open the dllcache folder find the winlogon.exe and Delete it 
   Now Copy&Paste your altered winlogon.exe in its place. 
   Nearly finished 
9. Copy&Paste this Address: ( C:\windows\System32 ) into the Run?. 
10. Program and click OK this will open the System32 Folder and find the Winlogon.exe 
   drag it to your Desktop and rename Winlogon2.exe and place the winlogon.exe 
   you Altered in its place. 
11. Now reboot your System! 
12.  To find out if it has worked click your Activation button and you will see your copy of Windows XP is Activated
